The United States of America is a country located on the continent of North America. Canada, Mexico, and all the Caribbean islands off the coast of Florida are also on this continent. It is important to note that Black people inhabited the American continent prior to the arrival of white people.

It is repulsive that our fellow Black people use slavery to disrespect and insult Black people in American. Yes, there are some blacks in America, who are descendants of slaves who were forcefully removed from their land, their tribe, their culture and traditions. And today a lot of us are not aware of our ancestral homes due to the brutality that our ancestors faced. But now this tragic history is being weaponized against us as Americans by some Africans on the continent and elsewhere. So sad. This is a part of the divide between Black who have been in America for generations and new incoming Black people. How can we unite?

I think the difference here is that people from the uk whose parents are not from the uk, do not see themselves as "british" (absolutely NO ONE here calls themselves british. You are either english, scottish, welsh or irish) even me im born here but i dont class myself as fully english.
